Photography

My interests in photography really flourished while I was a magazine and digital editor working with artists on various photo essays (e.g. Asher Imtiaz). I’ve recently started putting regular updates on Instagram. Here, I may put up some curated galleries : often from Oxford but also from various travels. The first one below is from a choir tour to Pontigny in 2023 (the one I’m in was by Bernard Jarry). The second is from winter floods in 2024, which created new lakes and pools. Combined with freezing temperatures and the unusual angles of the sun in the British winter, it led to some dazzling contrasts.
